Privacy & cookies

StressAid is designed to be privacy-first. It does not ask for a student’s name, email, student ID, date of birth, or any other identifying information.

Answers are combined at class level and shown to teachers only as collective signals. Individual responses are never shown.

Cookies

We use only essential first-party cookies needed for the service to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so no cookie consent banner is shown.

  • Teacher sign-in: session cookies from our authentication provider (Supabase) keep teachers signed in securely.
  • Interface language: a cookie named stressaid_locale remembers whether you chose English or Italian. It stores only “en” or “it” — never names, answers, or account details.

The student questionnaire does not set cookies and does not use local browser storage for answers.

If we add non-essential cookies (for example analytics) in the future, we will ask for consent before setting them and update this page.
